“AMERICAN CHOPPER” meets “CRIBS”

UNDERGROUNDA/V is a half hour make-over reality show starring the cast of characters from UndergroundA/V; a crew of passionate technophiles in the heart of Los Angeles who plan and execute large scale home entertainment customizations for some of Hollywood’s heavy-hitters. This series will show the crew of Underground A/V redesigning the Interiors of celebrities’ multi-million dollar homes to create“ smart houses” as well as design Audio/Visual installments for venues such as nightclubs and concert halls.

THE SHOW
The art of the audio/video world is a little known medium. The knowledge and innate skill that goes into configuring these large-scale customized home installations is humbling to say the least. Giant plasma TVs, 7 speaker surround sound systems, and LCD screens that control the climate and sound of a room with a single touch are just a few of the innovations the crew at Underground Audio has installed in the homes of their clients. On top of that, the crew that runs, arguably, the most successful custom audio/video shop in the country are a group of the most driven and charismatic people around. They are in the perfect location as well, Hollywood. In this city, their magnetism is as lucrative as their charm, a fact that will be apparent in this show. Our proposed show will follow the crew of Underground Audio as they plan, build, and complete various custom audio/video projects for their high-end clientele. Celebrities and other affluent clients will grace each episode, adding personality, vision, and sometimes conflict to the show’s main characters.

We’ll watch as the crew strives to complete and improve their client’s original idea, and hope they meet their demands and deadlines. The blue prints, the equipment, the installation, and finally - the flipping of the switch – does it all turn on? The genius of this show will lie in the combination of the sheer magnitude of their work and their rambunctious “boy’s club” personalities and work atmosphere. Audiences will fall in love with the staff of Underground Audio the same way they fell in love with the tattooing lotharios of Miami Ink and the Jr. and Sr. Tuetuls on American Chopper. People will be utterly impressed with their work, not knowing that audio/video installations took so much time, had so many options, and required so much knowledge and skill. This show will be a hit not only because audiences love to learn about intrinsic skill, but also because the cast is uncompromisingly entertaining.
